I am with the very beautiful, the very talented, lovely Bella Tambora. How you doing, Bella? I'm doing all right. Trying to get through all this snow here. Now, let me just say something about the snow, all right? It wasn't as bad as they said it was gonna be. It wasn't. I mean it was bad, but it wasn't like, oh my god. The funniest part about the snow is going to the store, and I was one of the people who went to the store, okay? But I didn't go for everybody going for the milk and the eggs and the bread. I don't get that part. I got the beer, I got the potato chips, right? I got the essentials we need. I got munchies, you know, pizza, uh little pizza bites or whatever. And you know, I spent over$400 though.

Yeah, you're back crazy. You thought we were gonna get snowed in for a week.

Yeah, that went nuts. But you never know, man, because the if you look at the roads, but we we are they don't they ain't that plowed, that good. I actually did a great job. I got a I will pat myself on the back. I was out there for a long time. I plowed. I even helped somebody get their car out, too. I actually did very good with my snow plow today. I was like, here goes a little Johnny in the snowplow. All right. Not only did I do uh our our front walk, but the neighbors and that neighbors on the right side, and on the left, I did those guys and I did, I got my car out, and you know, because you have a four-wheel drive, and you have one also, yeah. It's awesome that you know I did behind the car, then I was able to move up the car, and then get under the car, and then all that, and then back up the car, then get in front of the car, and then now I got a nice spot. And then I tried to plow as much as I could in the street by me on my side when the plows come, and I was lucky the plow did come. And when he came, I was right there. I I gave it right back to him.

Good. Right? Yeah, and then uh That's what happens. You dig out your car and then they plow you back in. But your car, okay?

I got your car out beautiful. I snow plowed around the whole thing, I shoveled around it, I moved it up, I got under it, behind it, and then what I did because of the short street you have over there, I I actually went up and down the street to our neighbor's house and back to the to the to the corner, back to the neighbor's, and all the snow. So when this plow comes, there's nothing there. And he came. He came down, right? And he gave a little maybe a little bit, maybe two inch little thing on the side under your car. And blew it again. There you go. All right. So uh the cars are cleaned off. He is a snow plow at the time. And I hate it. And I gotta thank you for getting me those heated gloves last year for Christmas.

For the initial shock. I with the clothes I wore was so funny, man, because But you went out You went out during the storm and then after the storm and then after the storm. Right.

I went out during the storm yesterday just to get uh the first layer done. So, and I gotta say, you know what? I like I said, I went out, I did all around the whole house to our neighbors, and then to the right to our neighbors, and I heard them plowing this one, didn't even help us. Imagine that.

Didn't move. You have a plow, he has a shovel, let's see. Yeah, that's why he didn't help you.

But uh, you know, uh we got it up and the snow wasn't as bad.

It was it was a great night, it was great being off today. I think it was a big thing because it was across the entire country, which weather control here. Now here's a question for you. That way nobody protests, so that's what would happen.

You think they were trying to yeah, I think I think they were trying to use the weather to make people not protest about it. Think about it. Whatever. But uh I'm not here to talk about that stupid stuff anyway. But uh Yeah, what do you think about I've been seeing these videos out there about the snow? They're saying it's fake and they're burning it.

I saw that on uh media that they burn the snowball and they're seeing that there's plastics in it and it doesn't melt. I don't know, we didn't try it. We're gonna try it though.

But uh But anyway, so anyway, you know, it it I want to try it. We're gonna take it out later. We're gonna light it on fire and we're gonna see what happens. You know? If it burns, if it sticks like plastic, or if it don't. We'll see.

They they said it was gonna be a bad winter, right? I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. I mean, we got two snowstorms already. Were they that bad?

No, not how it was back in, I think we're gonna be back in the last day, right? 70s, 80s. Yeah, you remember the snowstorms we used to. I mean, it was like I'm remembering like two and a half feet, three feet. I don't know. Because it was snow after snow after snow. Those were snowstorms, not these cavalry. We were skitching like on the bus. I mean, do you ever skitch? Yeah, we just skitch. Grab onto a car going around the corner. I'm gonna tell you a great story. I was crazy.

I did it. Do you remember the ice storm of 77 or the big snowstorm of 77? Yeah. My father, the day before, we bought and picked up two snowmobiles the day before. Not knowing we're gonna have that whole thing going on. You know what I mean? So we the next day, me and my brother woke up and the snowmobiles were sitting in the garage, and we had all that snow. My father's like, God, we had the best time with those things, man. Up and down the road, snowmobiles, that were great, man. I missed those things. I wish I still had them. I really do.

But yeah, but we haven't gotten snow like this in a while. Like several years.

Well, it's chemically made now. That's why. No, I'll tell you, you know, it's funny, um, those snowmobiles we did with 77s, and when I had my uh my house in Baldwin Harbor back in the 90s, early 90s, my neighbor had a snowmobile. I never forget. I go, I got one, I got one. He takes out this snowmobile. He got the gloves are like inserted onto the handlebars. You put your hands in this hot, they're heated gloves. Get out of here. And a part of the snowmobile. I never forget that. And here I come with my 1977. That was a horrible, horrible thing. But uh, so right now, motorcycle season, nothing really going on right now. But Daytona is right around the corner. Oh, yeah. And I want to do a shout out to the Tropical Manor out there. The best thing was the 7-Eleven was like right across the street.

Exactly. And coffee. I remember there was a day that I used to think 7-Eleven is the best coffee in the world. Remember?

Yeah. Until you went to Europe. Now it's a little late.

La Vaza is my coffee now. But um, no, check out the Tropical Manor. It's a beautiful hotel. Only in the Mendomies, you want to get a pool. But the only thing they're missing is a bar. But there's so many bars in the area anyway. You know, it's a great place to stay. Great, great price. Clean place. Right on A1A, right on the beach, Bella.

And bike week is starting, I believe, when um the end of February. February 29th, I believe, is starting. And right into March. It's starting early this year, man. You know what that means? And I gotta tell you, for my past. But the 27th starts. My past experiences with Bike Week in Daytona is I prefer Bike Toberfest. Reasons? For one, it's not as crowded. Okay. Instead of it being a 12 deep on Main Street, it's only eight. Okay? But it's not that bad on Main Street or or riding around. Plus, the weather is almost guaranteed beautiful because you're coming off the summer. Am I right? You're coming off the summer. When you're coming off the winter, especially like a winter like this one, it's gonna be cold. And I've experienced some cold, cold days in Daytona where we went to go do the loop one time, and I think it dropped down to 25 degrees. That's how cold it was. And it was like and there wasn't no one prepared. You go out, that was a little chilly. It'll warm up. It got colder. It was it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with bike week with the weather. But you know, if you never did bike week, Daytona is definitely one of the best ones I think is out there. Because it's so big. You know what I mean? It's it's huge. It's really it's like it's like all these towns together. It's in Daytona Beach and Almond Beach and Flagler Beach and Brunel and in Orange. It goes all the way down. I mean, it's all over. Daytona Bike Week is uh is huge. Have you ever gone to the races? I've never did a race over there. But uh I would like to check out a race. They have the the 200 they have with the bike that the flat. That's how it all started. It all sort of that's right, it did. Yes. But the 200 and um the racetrack is a really cool place to check out anyway, because of the vendors they have there. They have so many vendors. You ever go to see all the vendors over there? It's incredible. Both sides of the racetrack. But we'll come right back to that when we come back from break. So check it out, man. It is snowing out there. The roads were horrible. Um, but you know what? Maybe that's the last snowstorm. You hope? I hope. I hope so.

In the motorcycle community, there's always something going on. Either there's a toy run or a charity or a winter barbecue. That's right. Now, Black Dawn Resort up in East Storm, New York, which is a great that's a great place to go if you love motorcycles, first of all, because I feel like that whole campground is like dedicated to bikes, am I right? It definitely is. You know, and they got they got the spaghetti wrestling up there, they got the Caskill Mountain Run. That's huge. Yeah. And always a big band playing up there. And uh we were there last year. Now this year, we're uh gonna be doing the winter barbecue again, and that's for this Friday coming up, right?

It's this Friday, yep. It's this Friday, I mean it's January 2031st from one to six. That's Saturday. Saturday. But if you want to be there early, you could stay there overnight. Yeah. Get up there on Friday, hang out, and uh I gotta tell my story.

I mean, it's kind of gross, but I gotta tell it. It's a great story. So I got there two years ago. I went to the winter barbecue and uh and they got me a room, right? Uh they said, hey, we got a room for you, come on up, you know, blah blah blah. So I went up and I got my room before I started drinking. I'm sorry, I started drinking before I went to my room. That's what I should say. So I enjoyed the party and the festivities. It was a crazy time up there. And then I ordered a bunch of food. I got all kinds of food to bring back to my room. Of course you did. And I couldn't find my room. That was the thing. There's so many like buildings on the property, because it's a campground. The black doesn't have a big campground where you can bring, you know, you can bring your camper with you, you can tent out, or they have, you know, on the property, they have buildings where you get like hotels, like motels, sort of. But a bunch of different ones, a little all over the place. So I got this one and I forgot to ask them where it was. And oh man. I was all that it took me like three hours to find my room in there. Were you drunk? I was hammered. And I'm walking around this camera, and I'm like, oh, I don't know where my room is. And I'm calling people like, I'm lost, I don't know where to go. So I finally get my room, and I remember I had mozzarella sticks, I had a big pretzel, I had all kinds of food with me. And I remember just filling my face and then passing out. And the next day I got up, and then I was like, alright, I gotta leave, you know. And I remember cleaning up all my mess and I go use the men's room quick before I went to the bathroom. Right. Not knowing that the plumbing wasn't hooked up. Oh boy. So somebody got a big surprise up there. And I left. That is not good at all. But it was great though. That is such a great place to go. I mean, just to hang out, to camp out there. I always got stuff going on up there. Uh, whether it's uh charity run or uh uh a winter barbecue or the the Cascule Mountain Run, and they have their mayhem run also. They have a big mayhem thing up there. And they have a lot of Halloween thing up there too, right?

I love the haunted house. Yeah, this winter barbecue is this Saturday, and uh hamburgers, hot dogs, ten dollars. Uh they have vendors, fifty-fifty, um, outdoor campfire. I mean, it is cold, so you'll need a campfire. Although they have nice accommodations there, so warm rooms. It's kind of cool because the main area, the main bar is awesome, and their food is good actually, there too. I mean, if you're not into barbecue, but just to go up there and hang out and you know, be with everybody. And um yeah, and they have uh Long Island James will be DJing. LA James! Yes, during LJ up till 8 p.m. And then they're having a live band, nothing to lose, it's called, uh cover band. So uh it's gonna be a fun day, you know, definitely. And as I said, they got great accommodations there. Could go up Friday night, stay the weekend, or you know, get up there early Saturday and uh crash overnight and stuff.

So um definitely gonna want to crash overnight because when you party in Black Dawn, you party at Black Dawn.

Well, from Long Island, it's like what is it, about three hours? Three hour drive.

And uh with the road conditions now, you have to give yourself some extra time. I hope everybody has uh four by four. Yes, yeah.

So um, but no, it's it's a cool vibe up there. Uh I enjoyed it when I went to Catskill Thunder. And we went to the uh winter barbecue last year, yeah, which was awesome.

So the meat chickens there one night. Meat chickens. The meat chickens. Great band. No, they have uh, like I said, the hot dogs and hamburgers, another kind of food too. But you can also order food because they got great bar food there. I gotta tell you that pizza, I love their bar pizza. It's one of the best I've ever had. I went I think I ate three of them one night. That's how fat I am. But they got good food there. So not only do you get the hot dolls and hamburgers, but that comes with the cost of ten dollars to get in, right? Right, right. They got a great bar there, and it's just a fantastic time. You know, the real good taste of upstate New York, right? Some winter brisk air. Winter brisk air. Yeah. Last year, man, me and Brian were walking back to a room, right? And uh it was so freaking cold, man. Uh like this is and then you're slipping on the ice and good old upstate stuff, you know?

Yeah, yeah. It's a good getaway. Good getaway. Uh, and uh uh staying somewhere really cool with uh great people that go up there and hang out and have a lot of fun. Absolutely. And uh yeah, Long Island James, he's uh you know known for being out here. He relocated up there and he's gonna be.

They're uh almost like a riding club that's up there, and they do a lot of great charities for a lot of people, man. They go up there, they do a lot of great things. So check out the Red Barn Riders and jump on one of their rides, man. So just getting off Long Island sometimes is great. You know, in the summertime, just to get off the island, because me personally, I'm sick of riding on Long Island. There's nowhere to go anymore. We're gonna go, Freeport, Port Jefferson, out the east. It just, you know, we every weekend do the same thing. Get off the island, man. Go up to Blackdorn, hang out there for a weekend. You'll love it. That campground is so cool. If you got a camper, go up there. I'm telling you, you will have a fantastic time. Big Irish town, right?

Yeah. We went up there one weekend and they had an Irish fest, which was really cool. What's really cool about up there? I mean, it's not only for bikers, but it it's a lot of bikers here, but they have different theme weekends, and it's a family resort. I mean, there's kids everywhere too, and they got a pool. They have a nice pool, bars, tiki bar, and uh very cool place. And you know, they have places over there that are more for families, and then you have the bars for the adults, which is awesome.

Yeah, Johnny, you're out now. You're you're a big head. It's all good. Oh fun. So um yeah. Definitely check it out this weekend. Yeah, this weekend coming up. The 31st from 1 to 6, and the after party starts at 8 p.m. with live music with nothing to lose. Oh boy. And uh in the morning, Sunday morning, they'll have breakfast specials and two for one Bloody Marys. Oh boy, you're gonna need it after that night. Yeah, for those people that have hangovers. So that's really cool. Hey, you're looking for something to do this weekend, head on up there.
